Hi, I’m Marie — founder of Hair Renos. For more than 20 years, I’ve dedicated my career to elevating hairstyling into a true art form. My background began in 1992 in professional makeup artistry before earning formal credentials from Algonquin College and the Ottawa Academy for Professional Hairstyling.
Since opening Hair Renos in 2005, my mission has been to offer an exclusive, private studio sanctuary where every appointment is 100% reserved for you. I specialize in lived-in blonding, multidimensional color, and bespoke haircuts tailored to your bone structure and natural hair texture.
To bring world-class technical precision back to my Ottawa chair, I regularly invest in international master education — including foundational architectural design at the Vidal Sassoon Academy Toronto (2017) and advanced master precision cutting at the famed Vidal Sassoon Academy in London, UK (2026).

Hi, I’m Taylor — a colorist with a passion for creating customized, dimensional color and effortlessly lived-in styles. My signature techniques include AirTouch blonding, bespoke foilayage, and vibrant vivids, allowing me to combine artistry, precision, and a deep understanding of hair health to craft looks that are modern, seamless, and uniquely you.
I trained at Versailles Academy in Ottawa and now work alongside my mom, Marie, at Hair Renos — the salon I grew up in. Lifelong education is central to our craft: Marie and I recently traveled to the flagship Vidal Sassoon Academy in London, UK (2026) to complete advanced master precision training together. Bringing world-class international techniques back to our chair, I love the artistry behind helping every guest feel confident, radiant, and completely themselves.”
Missed Appointments
If you arrive more than 10–15 minutes late, your appointment may need to be rescheduled or transferred to another available stylist.
Clients who miss two consecutive appointments will be required to either pre-pay in full for their next visit or provide an increased deposit to secure future bookings.
